It’s a fall kind of day…

So, cold weather, just-finished naps, and Nutcracker rehearsal in the afternoon meant our morning was nice and relaxed. Tricia was raking leaves and we decided to take the girls outside for a little bit.

This was Ellie’s first time in the leaves and she was not a fan. She preferred to spend her time outside toddling after Abby trying to go everywhere big sister went. This led to some interesting moments as she made her way towards the ravine of death in the back yard!! BUT, we got to her in time and were able to get some nice pics of the girls.

And, what fall morning isn’t complete without some throw-your-kids-into-the-air photos. We did this with Abby when she was about Ellie’s age. (actually, now that I go and find that photo, Abby was almost 6 months old. No wonder Ellie felt so much heavier!)

Anyway…here are the photos.

Enjoy,
J

  1. What wonderful photos and comments. Of COURSE you know it is more fun in the front than the back . . . and I love the way Elizabeth’s walk is reminiscent of Abby’s toddler walk from behind!! She is not going to be held back one iota. Sympathize with your comment on the last one – ha! All in all some very dear photos. Thanks.

  2. Abby is getting so grown up looking. She is so beautiful, and Ellie is just the cutest little one. How very blessed you are with this wonderful family.
