Cape May – Monday

Here we are again. More nauseating photos of our beautiful daughter! Thanks for checking back so soon.

Today started with Breakfast on the porch followed by a stroll to the beach. We tolerated the 30mph winds for about an hour before we had enough. By “we” I mean Abby! Too much fun for one morning and the Piglet turns angry! We retired to the house for naptime and she was in a MUCH better mood. We took a bike ride out to the harbor and looked around for a little while. Came back to the house for SnackTime and HappyHour depending on your age!

We all made dinner (chicken fajitas!) together and Abby won the prize for weirdest answer to a question.

Tricia (while handing Abby a plate to take to the table): What happens when we drop glass on the floor?
Abby: Milk.

I about died. She’s too funny.

After dinner, we headed into town for Rita’s ice cream for dessert. Abby flirted with an “older” boy at the next table. She looked at him, giggled, and then proclaimed “I have curly hair!” He thought she was laughing because it looked like he had lipstick on from his cherry ice cream.

Home for baths and bedtime.

  1. Abby is looking for sharks…love the pictures! We are Praying for good weather! You hard working kids deserve a break !! If it rains all week, enjoy it anyway…a bad day on the beach is better than a good ay at work!

  3. WOW! These pictures are amazing. Love the “curly hair” shots of Abby! The one of her sitting in the chair eating ???? is my favorite! Is this Jacob’s new “rented” lens? Gorgeous pics! Colors are so bright, even if the weather isn’t. You guys sound like you’re having a ball. Love the posts! : )
