San Antonio #4 – San Jose and the Riverwalk

Quite a busy day yesterday – that’s why I’m just getting to post these pictures now.

We started the morning with a nap (that didn’t last for very long…and would create problems later…but THAT’S a different story).

We went out to San Jose – one of 7 missions originally built way way long ago. It was a pretty awesome place and we got to see some really cool stuff. I got some good pictures and Abigail expressed her independence by REFUSING to hold our hands while walking. She ended up being carried most of the time (my back was glad for that! NOT!).

After exhausting the mission (and the 2 year old), we headed off to the Riverwalk to see the water and do the touristy thing. We stopped at this little jazz club for drinks and Abby wooed the saxophone player. Then, it was off to dinner. Had margaritas and mexican food on the Riverwalk in the shade! Very nice. Abby started loosing it (again) so we came home, threw he in bed, and chilled for the rest of the night.

If you’ve never played American Idol on Wii, try it. It’s a blast. Also, Tricia ROCKS so never play with her!! She’ll beat you every time.

More pictures below – just click on the link.

Enjoy,
J

  1. You guys look like you’re having such a wonderful time! Can’t get over the beautiful colors in these pictures. Still cold, gray and ugly here. Will spring ever arrive! Safe travels. Hugs to all. Love, Gamma.

  2. It looks like a beautiful day for a beautiful family to enjoy! Short sleeves, and warm weather AHHHHH and wonderful smiles from everyone! Oh yes, and a very normal almost 2 year old being independent—happiness is!!!!
