Ellie lost her first tooth today.
She and Tricia were out at Starbucks after dropping Abby off at a sleepover. Ellie’s tooth has been loose for a little over a week now and it was kind of bothering her. She asked Tricia to take a look at it.
Tricia grabbed a napkin and held onto the tooth. With hardly any pulling, it popped right out in her hand.
At first, Ellie was a little freaked out. She didn’t like how it felt to not have the tooth there. But, after a few text messages to Dad, she was getting excited about things.
She put the tooth in her tooth pillow and went to bed hoping the Tooth Fairy visits! Tricia made a tooth pillow because teeth and notes to the Tooth Fairy can get lost under a pillow and the Tooth Fairy sometimes has a hard time digging them out without waking up the kids!!

A couple of people pointed out that you can’t really see the tooth missing!! That’s on me. I was so worried about getting her to cooperate and smile that I missed the whole point!!

Congratulations to Miss Ellie! What a milestone, and I love the pillow! But where’s the hole from the tooth??? I think I can barely see a little tiny bit of dark on the bottom there….
