After a long day of packing, playing, and ER visits (Ellie gave us another broken-arm-scare, but she’s fine!), we finally arrived at the beach with my parents (The Grandparents Geyer) around 9:30pm. We tiredly unpacked the cars and “quickly” put the girls down for the night. While putting my clothes away, I found a telescope in the closet!
Being my first known “Blue Moon” and a perfectly clear night I decided to put some of my left-over adrenaline from my earlier ED trip to use and spent an hour or so on the ocean front deck gazing at the full moon CLOSE UP AND PERSONAL! I’ve only seen pictures of the moon like this and now I’ve seen it with my own eyes!
I was able to hold my iPhone up to the eye piece for some photos. Isn’t technology wonderful?!
